Connect a Socket Mobile Scanner to iPhone or iPad

You can pair a Socket Mobile scanner to InspectNTrack for faster scanning.

Step 1: Turn on the scanner.

Step 2. Pair it with your iPhone/iPad. Open Settings › Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad and tap the Socket Mobile scanner in the list of devices.

Step 3. Open InspectNTrack and start scanning. The app connects to the scanner automatically.

Good to know: A new Durascan scanner comes ready to use with iPhone and iPad. You don’t need to install any extra apps.

Scanner was used with an Android device before? The D740 needs to be switched back to iOS Application Mode. Scan the iOS Application Mode barcode from the D740 user guide, remove the old pairing from the other device, and then follow the steps above. You can also use the free Socket Mobile Companion app to change the scanner’s mode.
