Supported Mobile Devices and Scanners

InspectNTrack supports camera-based barcode scanning on standard mobile devices and integrated scanning on approved mobile computers and external scanners.

Supported Mobile Devices

The InspectNTrack mobile app can run on supported Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

For the best performance, we recommend keeping the device on the most current available version of Android, iOS, or Windows.

Devices running an operating system that is more than two major versions behind the current release are not supported by InspectNTrack. Older operating systems may still run the app, but performance problems and compatibility issues are more likely.

If the device has a camera, you can use the camera to scan barcodes directly in the app.

Supported Barcode Scanners

For faster integrated barcode scanning, you can use a certified mobile computer or connect a supported external scanner.

InspectNTrack supports:

  • Zebra Technologies scanning devices across Android, iOS, and Windows
  • Socket Mobile scanners on Apple devices
